About
Hi, I'm Christine
I've been making bespoke jewellery in Cornwall for 25 years, using everything from cornish beach pebbles and silver to semi-precious stones and gold.
My journey began when I first started training with widely admired jeweller, artist and sculptor ~ Guy Royle. During 10 years working with him I learned
how to handcraft everything from findings & fixings to beads and brooches aswell as the art of lapidary (stone cutting and engraving).
My work is made up of hand cut, shaped and drilled semi-precious stones and local beach pebbles together with precious metal.
The decoration is hammered in using tools that I make myself, which makes each piece very individual. I also like to leave an unpolished finish,
with hammer marks as surface decoration. Occasionally I use 18ct gold to make hollow beads and decorate bangles and earrings.
My jewellery has been sold in galleries all over the country and I also take commissions. opening up my workshop.
Now I am opening the doors to people who want to have a taste of what it's like to make you're own bespoke jewellery.
